Local Ride – User Data Deletion Instructions

At Local Ride, we prioritize user privacy and give all users full control over their personal data. If you wish to delete your account and associated data, please follow the steps below:
1. In-App Data Deletion
You can request deletion of your account and all personal data directly within the Local Ride app:
Open the Local Ride app.
Go to Menu → Account Settings.
Tap on Privacy & Security.
Select Delete My Account.
Confirm your request.
Once confirmed, your account will be permanently deleted and all personal data (profile details, ride history, saved locations, payment information) will be removed within 7–30 days, as per our retention policy.
2. Email Data Deletion Request
If you prefer, you may also request deletion by emailing us:
Email: support@localride.co
Subject: User Data Deletion Request
Please include the phone number or email associated with your Local Ride account.
We will process your request within 7 business days and notify you once the deletion is complete.
3. Data Deleted After Request
Upon submitting a deletion request, Local Ride will delete:
Personal profile details
Phone number & email
Payment details
Ride history
Location data
Support tickets & communication logs
Any other data tied to your identity
Note: Some anonymized or aggregated data (which cannot identify you) may be retained for analytics and security.
4. Third-Party Services
If your data was shared with third-party providers (payment gateway, analytics, or authentication partners), Local Ride will also forward your deletion request to them to ensure full removal according to their policies.
5. Re-Registration
After deletion, your data cannot be recovered.
You may create a new account anytime using the Local Ride app.
